Good morning på er i Swedala!
Häromdan rådde det KAOS här i Hollywood. Kanske inte så ovanligt, men detta va faktiskt nåt utöver det vanliga...
Började med att vi såg typ tio helikoptrar cirkulera ovanför blvd:en Sen kom den ena polisbilen efter den andra. När vi gick ut för att kolla läget, va det folk överallt som drack alcohol in public (vilket ju e förbjudet här) och gapa och skrek åt polisen, som stod med dragna guns (okey, bean-bag-guns but anyway!).
WHAT A RIOT!!
Visade sig att det hela handlade om en filmpremiär av dokumentären 'Electric Daisy Carnival Experience'. Nån jäkla rave-snubbe hade twittrat om detta, vilket ledde till att över 2000 pers ville se filmen at the Chinese Theatre. Polisen fick spärra av hela plejset så det blev tyvärr ingen film för de stackars rejvarna.
Så synd då.

Six months after announcing their engagement, Kat von D and Jesse James have called it quits.
Breaking the news on her Twitter page late Monday, L.A. Ink tattoo artist von D, 29, offered a short statement out of respect for her former fiance.
"I am no longer w Jesse, and out of respect for him, his family and myself, thats all the info I'd like to share. Thanks for respecting that," von D (real name: Katherine von Drachenberg) blogged.
Engaged since January, von D and James, 41, first stepped out as a couple in August 2010: making out at a Las Vegas museum exhibit and then holding hands in Fredericksburg, Texas.
In a promo that began airing earlier this month for her TLC series, L.A. Ink, von D gushed about her then-fiance. "I feel like I'm the luckiest girl," she said in the clip. "I don't care what anybody thinks."
This would have been the second marriage for von D and the fourth marriage for James, whose exes include Karla James, porn actress Janine Lindemulder and, most famously, Sandra Bullock.
James' six-year marriage to Bullock famously ended with the revelation of his affair with numerous women -- including Michelle "Bombshell" McGee, a stripper with a similar plethora of tattoos."

Sorry att det varit dåligt med updates här från Hollywood på senaste, peeps! Beror på en massa saker, bl a PISSIGT nätverk, en stackars skadad laptop, plus att S & S varit allmänt busy de senaste veckorna. Men nu e vi back on track! Hyfsat i alla fall.
Som sagt har det varit en hel del att göra, har flängt runt i L.A typ varje dag och fixat massa saker. Det slår en hur sjukt STOOOR denna stad är när man åker runt sådär. Här finns allt. Mountains, skyscrapers, beachen..ja, U name it! Varje del av L.A är som en egen liten city. Och det tar timmar att ta sig från en del till en annan, inte bara pga avstånden utan oxå för att trafiken här e heeelt insane!

Det här med 'reality shows' är ju ganska så sjukt egentligen. Här borta i Hollywood finns det extremt många, och det är STÖRT hur populära alla dessa skit-serier är! Så fort du sätter på tvn är det alltid nån gapande housewife eller galen rehab-celeb där on the screen.
Dessa tv-shows har ju även blivit väldigt populära in Sweden, och det sjuka är att även om vi inte vill titta, så kan vi inte låta bli.

Störst här borta är utan tvekan The Kardashians. Tror till och med att det har en egen tv channel. Det är liksom inte en serie utan typ fem, sex olika. 'Keeping up with the Kardashians', 'Kourtney and Khloé take Miami' 'Kourtney & Kim take New York', 'Khloé & Lamar', 'Kourtney & Kim & Khloé take what-ever, when-ever'...
Nä, men seriöst. Det är svårt att inte få rysningar när man hör deras nasala röster på deras breda kaliforniska dialekt.

Oh yes Holly, we know. Blondes are always wild.
Så klart har vi ju även de klassiska Real Housewives-en, som man bara måste följa och sen spy lite grann. Värst måste vara 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'. Plastic fantastic säger vi bara.

'The Rainbow became known as a hangout for rock musicians and their groupies. Notable regulars at the Rainbow in this period include Lemmy, John Lennon, Keith Moon, Grace Slick, Ringo Starr, Neil Diamond, Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin, Alice Cooper, Lizzy Valentine and many others. Elvis Presley was known to have occasionally visited the Rainbow. Los Angeles songwriter Warren Zevon referenced the scene at the Rainbow in the last verse of his 1976 song "Poor Poor Pitiful Me." The musical group Rainbow was named after this club.
As musical trends on the Strip changed towards heavy metal in the 1980s, the Rainbow followed suit.
Members of Mötley Crüe, Poison, and Guns N' Roses frequented the bar. It was mentioned in a number of songs, such as "Sunset and Babylon" by W.A.S.P. and "Peach Kelli Pop" by Redd Kross, and featured in the videos of "November Rain", "Estranged" and "Don't Cry" by Guns N' Roses.'

'Beginning with the 60’s and for the next three decades, Bill Gazzari, “The Godfather of Rock n Roll”, created a premiere venue, Gazzari’s, at this site for artists like The Doors, Van Halen, Alice Cooper, Tom Petty, Tina Turner, Mötley Crüe, and Guns N’ Roses. The legacy continues to rock the world.
So reads the plaque that today sits at the entrance to the world famous Key Club (known as Billboard Live from 1996-1998), the venue which, since 1998, has occupied the historic space where Gazzari’s once stood. Since its inception, Key Club has hosted a diverse group of talent, the highlights of which include Bon Jovi, ‘N Sync, Kanye West, Incubus, Tony Bennett, Prince, The Roots, Heart, and Def Leppard.'

De har en tiny, tiny scen buuuut what a history!
'The Whisky was a focus of the emerging New Wave, punk rock, and heavy metal movements in the late 1970s, and frequently presented local acts as diverse as The Germs (which recorded its first album there), The Dogs, The Runaways, Quiet Riot, Renegade, X, Mötley Crüe and Van Halen while playing host to early performances by the Ramones, The Dictators, The Misfits, Blondie, Talking Heads, Patti Smith, Elvis Costello, XTC, The Police, and The Jam.
The Whisky fell on hard times once the first flush of punk rock lost steam, and closed its doors in 1982. It reopened in 1986 as a "four-wall", a venue that could be rented by promoters and bands. Although a few booths remain on the perimeter, the interior has mostly been transformed into a bare, seatless space where the audience is forced to stand throughout the performances. A few sets of tables and chairs remain in the upstairs area, but these are often roped off as a "VIP" section, reserved for special guests of the bands, record executives, etc. Against this new economic backdrop, a number of hard rock and metal bands, including Guns N' Roses, Metallica and Mötley Crüe rose to prominence in the 1980s. The Red Hot Chili Peppers also were known to play at The Whisky, as stated in Anthony Kiedis' book Scar Tissue.'

'The Viper Room is a nightclub located on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California. It was opened in 1993 and was partly owned by actor Johnny Depp until 2004. The club is infamous as the site where actor River Phoenix died of a drug overdose on Halloween morning in 1993. Even following Phoenix’s death, the club remained a hangout for Hollywood’s most popular young actors. Regulars included Jennifer Aniston and Sean Penn. Adam Duritz, the lead singer of Counting Crows, worked as a Viper Room bartender in late 1994 – early 1995 to escape his newfound fame.'

Då så, dear friends har nedräkningen äntligen börjat! Den 18 augusti smäller det för då drar the SunsetStripMusicFestival i gång. I år lär det bli grymmare än nånsin för hyllningsbandet är inga mindre än MÖTLEY CRÜE. 20 augusti står de på Sunset Strip outdoor stage. Fy faan va vi längtar!!!

'2011 SSMF honorees MÖTLEY CRÜE will return to their roots and perform live ON The Sunset Strip Saturday, Aug. 20, closing the outdoor street festival stages!
“It’s an honor to be recognized by the Sunset Strip Music Festival,” said drummer Tommy Lee. “It means a lot to us that we are recognized for our contribution to this historic place.”
Mötley Crüe got their start on The Sunset Strip, as they performed many nights at the Whisky A Go-Go and The Roxy Theatre. The band also filmed their “Kickstart My Heart” video at the Whisky and for a while lived just up the street from the venue on Clark Street, making The Sunset Strip their official home.
“Bursting onto the scene in the early ’80s with a sound and style that blended punk, glam and heavy metal, Mötley Crüe helped re-establish The Sunset Strip as one of the top music destinations in the world,” says SSMF Executive Director Todd Steadman. “The band has forever left their mark on the music industry and The Sunset Strip, and we’re looking forward to celebrating their influence and bringing their spirited energy to this year’s tribute event.”
The outdoor stages will also feature exciting performances from a range of amazing artists throughout the day, including BUSH, PUBLIC ENEMY, MATT & KIM, ESCAPE THE FATE, THE DIRTY HEADS, COBRA STARSHIP, SHE WANTS REVENGE, BLACK VEIL BRIDES and TRIBAL SEEDS. The all-day street festival will also feature performances by more than 50 bands in the venues, including VOXHAUL BROADCAST, LETLIVE, DELUKA, PIGEON JOHN, KILL THE COMPLEX, THE LOST PATROL and DIVINITY ROXX.
After the outdoor stages close at 10 p.m., the party continues with unique “after parties” in venues, including DJs FELIX CARTAL, HARVARD BASS and BONES performing at the Key Club, and SEMI PRECIOUS WEAPONS returning to The Roxy Theatre to present their signature rock-meets-art party EMPIRE, featuring special guests.'
